Signifying the start of a landmark year for the organisation, HMS is celebrating handing over all homes to Torus on its first New Build scheme of 2024 – Ecclesia Park.
Handing over 36 new homes to housing Group, Torus, HMS has completely revitalised the area following the demolition of 4 vacant apartment blocks that had been empty for 4 years. Collaborating closely with Torus, HMS has regenerated the land to create a modern, mixed tenure development that will provide multiple different options for homeowners to get on the housing ladder.
Discussing the completion of Ecclesia Park, HMS’ Construction Director, John Barrow, said: “Professionally, Ecclesia Park is something I am incredibly proud of as it highlights HMS’ ability to completely transform a site and bring forward homes that positively contribute to an area. But, personally, as a St Helens native, I am proud of how much has been invested in building new, high-quality homes in the area and creating great places for people to live.
“It’s fantastic to play a part in regenerating the town I call home and affecting real change for others who live here. Our ongoing partnership with Torus has already seen us complete hundreds of homes that have helped numerous people thrive, and I know Ecclesia Park will do that for its new residents too.”
Continuing, Torus Group Director of Sales, Jeanette Grady, said: “Ecclesia Park is the latest example of HMS’ commitment to building impressive homes that give people the chance to live well and thrive and this scheme showcases their ability to create properties that rival any national contractor.
“Showcasing a great mix of property and tenure types, Ecclesia Park highlights Torus’ commitment to creating the types of homes people want and need, exactly where they need them. Through offering a variety of options, we are ensuring more people can access New Build homes and by working closely with HMS, we are able to scale up our footprint and bring even more new homes to communities across the Northwest.”
