Continuing its commitment to invest in local causes and community initiatives, HMS is thrilled to be supporting 6 local kids clubs and will give each of the below a £500 boost to support with covering the cost of kits, equipment and competition fees:

• FC St Helens Girls Football
• Euphoria Morris Dancing
• Eagle Sports Football
• Bank Quay Rugby
• The Martyrs Football Club
• Lee Jones Boxing Club

With all of the above submitting a compelling application as to why they should win the money in our latest funding initiative, the HMS Staff Involvement Group were overwhelmed with the quality of each entry and couldn't just award 5 groups the funding and had to stretch the budget to cover a 6th winner!

Discussing this latest social initiative, HMS' Head of Customer Excellence, Gail Farley, said: "It was fantastic to see the diversity of the clubs and organisations submitted and as a business, we wish we could've given more to support the hundreds of other teams and groups that were nominated as there's just so much good stuff going on in our communities that we are incredibly proud of!

"As for our winners, we're excited to see how they continue to flourish and how our small contribution will support their ongoing success and hope to receive a number of updates and photos so we can follow their journey's and celebrate their achievements. Thanks to everyone who took the time to submit an application - we know that a number of volunteers gave their time to take part - and we would like to invite you to take part again next year when applications reopen."
