Following the collapse of Crossfield Construction, HMS has taken over the redevelopment of the former ground of Burscough FC in order to build 52 new homes on site – all of which will be available via Affordable Rent and Shared Ownership.

Ahead of commencing building works, HMS will complete a number of remediation works, including the demolition of a number of homes previously built on site. This will ensure that materials which have been compromised by exposure to the elements will be removed and that the complete site will be safe and exceed all health and safety standards.

The fifth project HMS has taken over following the collapse of another contractor, Linaria Fields marks over 300 homes built by the team, in addition to its own New Build programme, and highlights the organisations resilience as a construction company of choice.
