With the redevelopment actively working to improve residents’ quality of life by reducing anti-social behaviour, the cost of fuel and energy bills and noise levels, works completed saw Wellington Road shortlisted as the Best Regeneration Project in the 2017 Housing Excellence Awards with one resident confirming it is now a ‘stunning landmark and much nicer place to live.’
